Diesel Mechanic

Bright FSM is a family owned business seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join our team.  We are currently taking resumes for experienced diesel technicians.  Background in medium/heavy duty diesel. While this role focuses on diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, our ideal candidate is also comfortable working as a technician who can diagnose and repair technology issues in newer trucks. In addition to making repairs, you will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on diesel engines, brakes, transmission, and other systems. Applicants need a valid driver's license.

Competitive pay depending on qualifications.

Diesel Mechanic Duties & Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair issues in medium and heavy duty diesel engines
• Diagnose and repair issues with hydraulics, brakes, transmission, steering, and other systems
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Perform welding or fabrication tasks on trailers and other equipment as necessary
• Prepare work orders and order parts
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace
